Registering
a New Domain Name elsewhere
If you do not have a fully qualified domain name ie (www.yourname.com)
you can register for one here at windows hosting
If you already have your own Domain name or wish to register elsewhere
follow the steps below
once you have a domain name you will have to inform your registrar of
your nameserver information for your zone files
. An example of a name server and IP Address is ns1.yourhost.com
and 64.247.77.164.
If we are to host your website we will email you with your nameserver
information then its a simple matter to inform your registrar of the
changes. (be warned that not all registrars will do this for Free )
ok so you have ordered the package that suits you best, we
have sent the nameserver information to you and you have changed this
information with your registrar, the usual length of time for the
nameserver updates is approx 48 hours. so until then you will probably not
be able to see your site, (if you have one uploaded)
